Did you know that VHL (Von Hippel–Lindau) is a rare genetic condition that can cause tumors to develop throughout the body over a person’s lifetime?
 

As of February 6, 2026, I am one year cancer-free and symptom-free after my diagnosis, surgery, and recovery. I am incredibly grateful for my health today. Like everyone living with VHL, I will continue with lifelong scans and surveillance so that anything new can be caught early.
 

I’m sharing my story to help raise awareness and support for the VHL community. I’ve created this fundraiser for this years “GIVING TREE” to help patients and families navigating this disease and to support the research that continues to change — and save — lives.

VHL research has already contributed to the development of multiple life-saving cancer treatments. Continued support helps move science forward and brings hope for better therapies and, one day, prevention.
